Arcane Rushed (arcanerushed.app) and the ArcaneScan apps for PC and Android are a fan project for the game Arcane Rush. We are not affiliated with the game’s developer. This page says what we keep, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.
- You can use the website without an account, and nothing about you is stored on our server until you make one.
- An account is a username and a password. We don’t ask for an email address, your real name or anything else.
- The apps read your game on your own device. Screenshots and video never leave it: only the battle record is uploaded, as text.
- Your League log is private unless you choose to share it, and you can be anonymous on the leaderboard.
- You can delete your account, and everything we keep for it, yourself at any time.
- We sell nothing to anyone. There are no ads and no ad trackers.
Without an account
Your collection, loadout choices and settings are saved in your browser on this device. They never reach our server.
For site statistics we count page loads and tab switches. For each one we keep:
- the page or tab
- the country your connection comes from
- the site that linked you here
- whether you are on the website, the PC app or the Android app
- a visitor code that changes every day
Your IP address is not kept. The visitor code is scrambled from your connection and browser, and because it changes every day, one day’s visit can’t be linked to the next. Cloudflare keeps these counts for up to three months, then they are gone.
With an account
- Your account: your username, your password and recovery code, both stored only as salted hashes that nobody can read back (not even us), and the date you signed up. Signing in keeps your device signed in for 90 days.
- Your synced collection: the cards and heroes you own, your pins, your equipped heroes and your site settings, so they follow you between devices.
- Your League log: the battles you log by hand or the apps record for you. A battle can include:
- your tribes, heroes, relic picks and spell picks
- your board every round: its units, their stats and whether they are golden
- your round results, final placement and rank
- shop offers and coins, if you turn those on in the app
- your opponents’ in-game names and heroes, as the game shows them to every player in the lobby
- Statistics while signed in: the counts above also record your username, so we can see how many accounts are active.
What others can see, and only if you choose
- The League leaderboard. If you share (you can switch it off), everyone signed in sees a summary: games, wins, top-4 finishes, and your best and average placement. With Hide my name you appear as
******, and your supporter badge and title are hidden too, since they would give you away. Your battles themselves are never shown. - Your clan. If you turn on sharing League stats with your clan, your clanmates see one short row per battle: placement, rank, your chosen tribe and hero, the date, and whether the app recorded it. They don’t see your boards or your opponents.
- Clan war data. A Warchief can enter a clan’s war results, which include members’ in-game names and scores. Only members of that clan and the Arcane Chief overseeing it can see them. The site owner can set up clans and their membership, but cannot open any clan’s numbers.
- Supporters. If you support us on Ko-fi, we record your supporter level against your username and keep nothing else from Ko-fi. Ko-fi handles the payment, and we never see your payment details. The Tavern Wall, your name carved into the site and a custom title are all off until you turn them on.
The apps
ArcaneScan watches the game through screen capture. On Android, the system asks your permission each time the overlay starts. On PC, it captures the game window.
Every frame is read on your device and then thrown away. Text such as player names and the results screen is read on the device too: by the phone’s built-in text recognition (Google ML Kit) or by Windows’ own OCR. No image is ever uploaded.
- When you correct a unit the app wasn’t sure about, it keeps a small sample of that unit’s picture on your device, so it recognises the unit next time.
- If the app crashes, it writes the reason to a file on your device. The file leaves your device only if you share it with us.
- The app checks with our server for updates. Free accounts can record 5 battles a day, so the app also checks how many you have left. Both checks are counted like a page view.
Other services your browser talks to
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the server.
- Google Fonts supplies the site’s fonts.
- The official Arcane Rush wiki supplies card pictures, which load straight from it.
- jsDelivr supplies the text-reading library, loaded only if you import a screenshot on the site. The screenshot is read in your browser and not uploaded.
- Ko-fi, if you follow a support link.
Each of them sees your IP address and browser when your browser loads something from it, under its own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
- Your account. Sign in, go to More and choose Delete account, then enter your password. This removes, straight away:
- your account, and signs you out on every device
- your synced collection
- your whole League log and your leaderboard entry
- what you shared with your clan
- your supporter level and settings
- What stays after you delete:
- war results your clan entered remain in that clan’s history, under your in-game name
- your in-game name remains wherever the game showed it as another player’s opponent, in their League logs
- the statistics counts expire on their own within three months
- Data in your browser: sign out and clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
