ArcaneScan player guide

ArcaneScan is the Arcane Rushed companion app for PC (Windows) and Android. It watches your games and fills in your League log on arcanerushed.app by itself, and it can give you advice while you play. It’s free, and supporters get extra features, listed below.

Before you start

  1. Make an account on arcanerushed.app: tap Log in, choose a username and a password, then Register. Keep the recovery code it shows you. We don’t ask for an email address, so the code is the only way back in if you forget your password.
  2. Download the app while signed in: go to More, then Get the apps.

PC (Windows)

  1. Unzip the download anywhere (your Desktop, a Games folder) and run ArcaneScan.exe. Nothing else needs installing.
  2. Sign in with your arcanerushed.app account.
  3. Start Arcane Rush at 1920×1080 or 1280×720. These are the two supported game resolutions. ArcaneScan finds the game window by itself; if it picks the wrong one, choose it in the Game section.
  4. Play. Recording starts by itself when a new game reaches hero select.

Updates install themselves: the app downloads the new version, closes, updates and reopens, and your settings stay.

Android

  1. Open the downloaded file. When Android asks whether your browser may install unknown apps, allow it, then tap Install.
  2. Open ArcaneScan and sign in.
  3. Tap Start overlay. The app asks for:
    • Display over other apps, for its small side tab and pips over the game.
    • Notifications, to tell you a battle is ready to review.
    • Screen sharing. On Android 14 and later you can share just Arcane Rush instead of the whole screen, and we recommend it. Android asks again each time the overlay starts, and again after you lock the phone.
  4. The app opens Arcane Rush for you. Play. Recording starts by itself at hero select.
  5. When an update is out, the app offers it. The first time, Android asks whether ArcaneScan may install apps, because that’s how it updates itself.

The side tab shows a red dot while a battle is recording. Tap the tab to end or discard the battle, or to check units. Battery saver is on by default; it is under Advanced if the overlay ever starts missing things.

During a game

What gets recorded

Your heroes, tribes, relic and spell picks, your board each round (units, stats, golden), round results, placement and rank. Depending on your settings and tier, it also records shop offers and coins, and your opponent’s in-game name and hero. The game is read on your device, and no screenshot or video is ever uploaded. The privacy page has the full list and who can see what.

Free and supporter features

Each tier includes everything in the tiers above it.
